Robin’s House woodblock print (magenta/blue)

Robin lives across the street from us in Stonington, Maine. Her house features prominently in our lovely view of the harbor. In 2020, Robin painted her house a bright blue color. Initially, this newly painted blue house felt like an imposition on the landscape. I did not like it. Once I accepted that I needed to love what I didn’t like, Robin’s bright blue house became the inspiration for hand coloring these woodblock prints.

Robin’s House, Stonington ME is a hand-colored* woodblock print in a varied edition of 20 prints. Printed on 100% Savoy cotton rag paper. Each unique print is hand-colored using watercolor brushes by Faber-Castell. Prints have a white mat (with black core) and are available in either a black frame or white frame.

*Hand-colored prints will vary slightly from print to print.
