February 2021 – News from Simian Press

Dear Friends,

Greetings on this snowy February morning from my studio in Southampton, MA. I am busy with several broadside and print projects, including my second broadside collaboration with poet Richard Carella of Hudson Falls, New York. Our first broadside (Picasso’s Fish/Fish Story) was produced in February 2020. I’m pleased to report that Picasso’s Fish/Fish Story has been accepted into multiple public and private collections over the past year and was recently acquired by the Bulkley collection at Yale. Picasso’s Fish/Fish Story is available for purchase here.

We are currently hosting Volume 2 of LINEA (a journal of micro fiction) at simianpress.org. Our online event features recordings of authors reading their work as well as a video showcasing the artwork included in this volume. Publication of Volume 2 of LINEA and the online readings are supported in part by a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Northampton Arts Council. We are grateful for their acknowledgement of and contribution to our work.
LINEA is available for purchase at simianpress.org.

The event will remain available on the Simian Press website.
